I am doing 'Scrap your day' from www.shimelle.com, where we take photos of our 'ordinary' days on 25th of each month. This month it fell on a working day, so I took my camera to work and took pics of my mop!
After work, I took Merlin for a short walk, round to the park, and tried to capture not only pictures looking OUT, but pics looking UP and DOWN as well!
After that, my picture taking stopped! I put my battery on charge while I went to the hairdressers, and then had to rush out straight away again to take Lucy to the nail bar to have her nails done for the prom tonight. In my rush I left the battery but grabbed the camera! It was a shame cos the sea looked fabulous today. I went shopping for a few things for my holiday, including books, new fleecy, camera bag, 2 new CDs (Coldplay and Newton faulkner - worth mentioning her that both kids think I'm cool liking Coldplay!) By the time I was done, Lucy had had her nails and hair done, so we went home together, for a cup of tea, then off out again to take her to Tom's to get ready for the prom. I did have me camera now, and took a few pics of her and Tom looking Very gorgeous!
Then, I decided to take Nicholas to Tescos for food shopping for him next week (cos he will be here on his own), so didn't take my camera, BUT we stopped for fish n chips by Sea lane cafe, adn there were loads of windsurfers and kite surfers out cos it was very windy!
Since getting home, i have put the shopping (and my organic veg box) away and tidied up the kitchen and caught up on here with uploading CDs to MP3 player, uploading photos, and forum chats! Just having a tiny (cos that's all that's left in the bottle) glass of wine and then I will go to bed.

Little House Swap
Here are all 21 of my little houses! Here's the swap: http://www.ryan-kesler.com/swaps/littleboxes/
woohoo I have finally finished!!! I started by making about 3 at a time, and I expect you can see which 3 were made together if you look hard. My first houses were made with scrapbook papers (how I love using up all those little bits!), then I used a few painted backgrounds that I had made ages ago, and then some alcohol inked backgrounds. Then last night I got all my ditress inks out and made a large background by just smooshing them over with a baby wipe. How I love the effect, so colourful! I have had such fun adding stamped images, glitter, bling, flowers, word stickers, rub-ons.
I can't wait to get them back - I bloghopped a bit this afternoon and saw some really fabulous houses.

End of exmas
A few photos from our night out! We took Lucy and boyfriend Tom to a Smith and western restaurant in Chichester to celebrate the end of their exams. It was fab! It's a cowboy themed restaurant, and very nicely done. We had steaks and BBQ chicken YUM!
Can't beleive it's the end of their exams already! All that high school ends here! Well, they have proms next week and leavers assemblies to go to, then they are officially left!

Quick update on dad. He has spent nearly 3 weeks in hospital (came home 1 week ago) some of it in Worthing, some in UCH. Going up to Londond to visit him was very stressfull, Mum wanted to go up every other day, and couldn't go on her own. We found that thebest way to get there was drive to gatwick, then gatwick express to Victoria, which leaves every 15 mins and is non stop. The tube 3 stops. That's virtually guaranteed 2 hours doo to door. He has had a whole cycle of velcade now, and is feeling very rough this week. Thank goodness he has had velcade because the myeloma was starting to affect his eyes, and he does have permanent damage to one eye. The velcade is very strong and is reducing his platelets and clotting factors so he needs transfusions all the time. All in all it is not very nice!
